What do infertility statistics mean? In what ways are they useful? What to you is the implication if you are part of the infertility statistics?

Infertility concerns change people overnight with the way they look at life and the world. Their ideals, objectives and desires unabashedly take a plunge in the realization of what are really important in life. The realization of what can be unattainable make infertile men and women get a different sense of perspective for child and family. The infertility statistics gives comfort as the truth is bared: there are other men and women struggling out there like you. There are other couples in the same terrible situation struggling to get by.

*There were about 11.9% or 7.3 million women in 2002 with age ranging from 15 to 44 years of age who have availed infertility service according to infertility relief site. Those who received professional advice was roughly 6.1%.

*5.5% of women have received some sort of medical help to prevent a miscarriage.

* Those who have gotten a fertility test totaled to about 4.8%

*Ovulation drugs were received by about 3.8 women. Artificial insemination was administered to only 1.1% women.

*Those women who have impaired fecundity ranging from 15 to 44 years old were 11.8%; they do not only have problems getting pregnant but carrying the baby to full term as well.

It speaks of how anguished and yearning some men and women are when their thoughts are sincerely craving to satisfy the longing of the husband or wife, as the case may be. It tells how men and women continue to live with hopes thus bear the brunt of going to infertility clinics to submit to anything just to continue with the hope of having a child. It speaks of the misery of men and women who struggle with the cost just to be able to keep hoping that something good is coming out of it despite repeated failures. It is not easy and it will never be easy despite the promise of modern medicine.

What infertility statistics? It gives not only comfort but hope as well to those with infertility problems because it similarly says how many have not been vanquished no matter the odds.
