Most people are now used to eating the wrong food and disregard the right food that the body needs to function properly. One main reason why this is happening is because the type of food that is readily available is mostly high in fat; it’s difficult to run into healthy food that taste good nowadays. The availability of unhealthy food makes it difficult for one to resist the temptation, this is why people often end up eating food that is high in cholesterol which is one of the real causes of heart disease.


Not being able to exercise regularly is also one of the main causes of heart disease. The acceptance of a sedentary lifestyle is quite evident in our society, this acceptance has lead to increased cholesterol levels among individuals. Cholesterol is the underlying cause of many types od heart ailments which is why it is considered one of the main causes of heart disease. Having increased levels of cholesterol puts a person at higher risk of acquiring atherosclerosis which progresses to coronary artery disease and eventually leads to a heart attack. Exercising is a great way to burn excess fat and decrease bad cholesterol in our blood.


Not sleeping right is also one of the causes of heart disease;in fact, not having enough sleep and oversleeping are just the same. Having the right amount of sleep by sleeping on time helps rid the body of stress; it relieves you from the physical fatigue and gets you ready for the next day. If you don’t get enough sleep, chances are you are enduring high levels of stress. A person experiencing high levels of stress will most probably have high blood pressure, which can result to heart disease if left untreated.
